prophesying is basically a way of hijacking the near-unlimited subconscious processing power of the brain, forcing it to make rapidfire connections based on seemingly unrelated stimuli. i believe people’s brains have the power to deduce certain information and come to logical conclusions (within reason) based on factors that are beyond one’s ability to consciously work through. there is a certain mystical element to it as well, the idea that the universe (or collective unconscious) which contains certain answers outside the realm of one’s lived experiences, will provide said answers to those who can tap into it. but combined with the application of esoteric knowledge, processes or systems that have been tested and through trial and error determined to help build a bridge between that universal knowledge and ones individual knowledge, the possibilities are nearly endless. we’re on the edge of reality, babie!
